really. honestly. i am going to start using this thing again. i'll probably make it all protected posts though because the reason i stopped using it before was there were some sketchy people reading it, or people i didn't want in my business. so . . . let me know if you see this and still use xanga, and i'll put you on my protected list (if i don't think you're sketchy, lol)

i bought a WHOLLLLLLE bunch of books and i'm uber pumped to read them at school!

right now i'm reading Love in the Driest Season by Neely Tucker for my summer reading for College Writing........it is SOOOO good, i highly recommend it! i also have to read Illicit: How Smugglers, Traffickers, and Copycats are Hijacking the Global Economy for Leadership Gateway....i've heard it's good, i've heard it's bad. i haven't started so i'll let you know later!

i got two books at the used bookstore at coventry......some Anne Tyler book (can't remember the title......but i loved Breathing Lessons and my dad loves all her stuff so i thought i'd get it) and something with "bee" in the title (not the secret life of bees).....GOSH why can't i remember these? and they're across the room so i won't get them right now

i also spent my Borders gift certificates and got........:

Daniel Isn't Talking, by the mother of an autistic boy, mostly factually-based about her experiences with her son trying to learn to talk
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote because literally the entire senior class was addicted this year when some of the comp classes read it LOL so i thought i'd read it
A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving cuz i read The Cider House Rules by him which was amazing
and some other book about running a marathon i think but i forget the title.........blah it's like 2 AM and i just can't think. but either way i am PUMPED for all these books + the 100 or so other ones my dad gave me 2 years ago that i've been slowly digging into. i'm gonna limit myself to 8 books to take to school i think. how will i choose?!
